  Galunggong (Decapterus macrosoma), the poor man's fish, was successfully spawned in captivity at SEAFDEC/AQD in Tigbauan, Iloilo. This accomplishment by researchers from SEAFDEC/AQD may provide a solution to the perennial shortage of this specie.
